Overview
A tube shaped carrying case built specifically for the Samsung Freestyle projector, rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. Samsung states it fits the Freestyle projector and its lens cap only, with a clip for attaching to a bag, belt, or jacket.
- IP55 rated against dust and water
- Tube shaped shell matched to the Freestyle body
- Attachment clip for hands-free carry
- Fits the projector and lens cap only, per Samsung
Who it's for
Freestyle owners who mainly need to protect the projector body itself in a bag or backpack. Not a fit for anyone who wants one case to also hold the charger, remote, and battery pack.
Pros and cons
- Snug, purpose built fit for the Freestyle
- IP55 rated against dust and water
- Clip attaches to belt, jacket, or bag
- No space for the charger cable
- No space for the remote or battery pack
Performance notes
IP55 rating means the case resists dust ingress and low pressure water jets, which is what lets Samsung position it for outdoor use like camping. The clip is the main carry method, letting the case attach to a belt, jacket, or bag rather than being carried loose.
