Overview
Reheating fries, crisping frozen snacks and cooking small portions are the jobs for the Chefman TurboFry, a compact basket air fryer with dial time and temperature. A cool touch handle pulls the basket out away from the heating element.
Singles, dorms and small kitchens get air frying in a narrow footprint. The basket holds only small portions, and there are no presets or digital display.
Who it's for
Students, singles and couples will use it for snacks, reheats and small dinners. Families need a larger basket.
Pros and cons
- Narrow countertop footprint
- Dishwasher safe basket and tray
- Cool touch handle
- Power and heat indicator lights
- Lower max temperature than larger models
Performance notes
Crisping depends on hot air circulating around food in the small basket, so overfilling slows results. The timer cap and temperature limit prevent overheating. Small volume heats quickly, which suits short cooks and reheats.
