Overview
A weight forward floating fly line built with double welded loops at both ends, aimed at anglers who want a straightforward line for trout and general fly fishing without a premium price tag.
The taper is designed to load a rod smoothly at typical casting distances rather than for specialist distance or saltwater work. Welded loops on both ends mean backing and leader connections do not require nail knots, which speeds up rigging streamside. No description or review text is provided for this listing, so claims here stay limited to the stated build.
- Weight forward floating taper
- Double welded loops on both ends
- Braided multifilament core
- Slick surface coating for casting distance
Who it's for
Fits beginner to intermediate fly anglers who want a floating line that casts predictably and rigs up without tying loop to loop knots by hand. Less suited to anglers chasing a line matched to a specific rod action or a technical saltwater setup.
Pros and cons
- Welded loops front and back speed up rigging
- Floating design suited to typical trout casting
- Slick coating aids shooting distance
- Not positioned for specialist or saltwater casting
Performance notes
The line floats and is built on a braided multifilament core with a slick outer coating, which is the combination that keeps a fly line shooting cleanly through the guides and lifting off the water for a recast. Welded loops at front and back remove the need to tie backing or leader knots by hand.
