Overview
A magnetic mesh screen labeled for 36 by 82 inch doors, with the panel itself measuring 38 by 83 inches for overlap, split down the center so it swings open by hand and reseals with 36 magnets along the seam.
The labeled size and the actual panel size differ on purpose here, the extra couple inches is overlap so the screen still covers the frame edges. It targets people who want a removable screen for front, patio or sliding doors, including RVs, without cutting into openings of 82 inches or less.
- Center seam curtain design with 36 magnets
- Panel cut to 38 x 83 inches for overlap on a 36 x 82 door
- Detachable and rollable for storage
- Works on front, patio, sliding and RV doors
Who it's for
Works for standard front or patio doors up to 36 by 82 inches, including RV doorways. Not the choice for anyone needing a screen wider or taller than that, since no larger size is offered in this listing.
Pros and cons
- Hands free split curtain works with arms full
- 36 magnets along the full seam
- Rolls up and detaches for storage
- Sizing is capped at 36x82 inches
- Actual screen size runs larger than the door label, worth double checking before install
Performance notes
36 magnets run the length of the center seam, so the two curtain halves pull shut as soon as hands or pets clear the opening. The panel is cut a couple inches larger than the labeled door size so the mesh has enough overlap to seal against the frame rather than gap at the edges.
