Overview
A direct LED panel lights the picture from behind the screen while the Roku platform runs the apps on top. The set stands on its bundled feet or hangs from the stated VESA pattern, and the remote handles both the tuner and the streaming home screen.
Roku puts every input and app on one home screen, so nobody has to hunt through menus to switch between an antenna and a streaming service. The panel trades deep black levels for a bright, even picture, which shows most in a dark room with the lights off.
Who it's for
A living room or bedroom where several people share the TV and want one remote for apps, live channels and inputs. A videophile with a light-controlled room should look at a set with local dimming instead.
Pros and cons
- Roku home screen gathers apps and inputs
- Four HDMI ports for consoles and players
- Free live channels built into the guide
- Voice control through the Roku mobile app
- No local dimming for deep blacks
- Voice control needs a separate remote or app
- Refresh rate stays at 60 hertz
- Contrast ratio listed only as high
Performance notes
Picture quality comes down to the panel and the backlight: a direct LED array spreads light evenly but cannot dim zones separately, so black bars and night scenes lift a little. Motion handling follows the panel refresh, and the Roku processor holds the home screen and app switching fluid.
