Overview
The VLOXO cordless electric scissors are a battery powered cutting tool aimed at cardboard, packaging, and craft material rather than fabric. It ships with two blade types so the same handle covers different cutting jobs, and stainless steel construction resists corrosion.
Electric scissors like this trade the precision of hand shears for speed on repetitive cuts, which suits anyone breaking down boxes or trimming packaging in volume. VLOXO does not publish voltage, cutting speed, or battery life in the listing, so buyers judging runtime or power need to look past the spec sheet.
- Cordless battery operation
- Two interchangeable blade types
- Stainless steel blade material
- 0.49 kilogram lightweight body
Who it's for
Anyone slicing through a steady stream of cardboard or packaging, from small shippers to home crafters, gets the most from this tool. It is not built to replace fabric shears or a utility knife on thick material.
Pros and cons
- Two blade types cover different cutting jobs
- Stainless steel resists corrosion
- Light housing eases hand fatigue on repeat cuts
- Voltage and runtime not listed
- Not intended for fine fabric work
Performance notes
The two included blade types let the tool switch between cutting styles without changing the whole unit, useful when packaging jobs vary between cardboard and thinner material. Stainless steel blades hold an edge longer than coated alternatives and clean up easily after sticky tape residue. At just over a pound (0.49 kg), the housing stays light enough for extended one-handed use.
