Overview
A 128GB U3 rated microSDXC card built for up to 100MB/s speeds, aimed at action cameras, drones, and devices like the DJI Pocket. It carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Silicon Power is explicit about one limitation: this is not a microSD Express card, so it will not work for Nintendo Switch 2 game installs or save data, only for basic file storage like screenshots if used there at all. On the original Switch it works for games after a system update, a different and older requirement than Switch 2's.
- 128GB U3 microSDXC card
- Up to 100MB/s read/write speed
- Built for drones, action cams, DJI Pocket
- 5-year limited warranty
Who it's for
Suited to drone pilots, action camera users, and DJI Pocket owners who need fast, high-capacity storage for continuous video capture. Anyone buying specifically for a Nintendo Switch 2 should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Up to 100MB/s speed, U3 rated
- 128GB capacity for extended recording
- 5-year manufacturer warranty
- Works with original Nintendo Switch after a system update
- Not compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 for games or saves
- Requires a system update for original Switch compatibility
Performance notes
The U3 rating and up to 100MB/s speed support continuous high-resolution recording without dropped frames, which matters more on drones and action cameras than on the original Switch, where the card just needs a system update to be recognized for game storage.
