Overview
The kaba 123 is a fish scale combining a stainless steel weighing mechanism with a rubber grip or housing, sold as a single green unit for weighing catch.
Rubber and stainless steel construction is typical of hand held hanging scales built for wet, dockside use, where the rubber protects the housing from drops and the steel handles the hook and spring. No seller description is published to confirm maximum weight capacity or display type.
- Rubber and stainless steel build
- Green color
- Sold as a single unit
- Model 123
Who it's for
Anglers who want a basic hand scale to weigh catch dockside or on a boat, especially those who value a rubberized grip for wet hand handling.
Pros and cons
- Rubber housing suited to wet, dockside handling
- Compact single unit, easy to store in a tackle bag
- No purchases recorded in the past month on this listing
- Weight capacity is not stated in the available data
Performance notes
Hanging fish scales weigh catch by hooking through the gill or jaw and reading the deflection against a spring or, on digital models, a load cell. The rubber component here likely protects the housing from drops on a wet deck, while the stainless steel handles the hook and internal mechanism.
