Overview
The AeroPro CN45RC is an air powered nailer with an aluminum housing, weighing 7.34 pounds and running without a battery, listed under Tools and Nailers.
The aluminum housing keeps weight down relative to a steel-bodied equivalent, even as the tool tips the scale near 7.3 pounds. Running off compressed air rather than a battery means output depends on a connected compressor rather than a charge level, which matters for anyone weighing air power against cordless options.
- Air powered, no battery required
- Aluminum construction
- Weighs 7.34 pounds
Who it's for
Buyers with a shop compressor who prefer air power over batteries for a nailer fit this listing. Anyone needing a cordless nailer for sites without compressor access should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Aluminum housing keeps weight down
- No battery to charge or swap
- Runs on standard shop air
- Requires a separate air compressor
- Heavier at 7.34 pounds for overhead use
- Nail size and magazine capacity not listed
Performance notes
Running on compressed air rather than a battery, output ties to the connected compressor's pressure and volume rather than a charge cycle, so there is no runtime to manage between refills of a battery pack. The aluminum housing keeps the 7.34 pound weight lower than an equivalent steel-bodied nailer would carry, which matters over a long day of overhead or repetitive use.
