Overview
Evenly distributed glass beads give this compact blanket its contoured, calming weight across the torso, back or lap. One face is soft cotton jersey for a cooler feel and the other is plush microfleece for warmth, and the whole piece goes in the washer and dryer.
Portability sets it apart: the small format brings weighted pressure to a desk chair, sofa or plane seat without a bed-sized blanket. Coverage is limited to part of the body, and anyone wanting full-body pressure in bed will need a larger blanket.
Who it's for
Couch nappers, meditators and frequent travelers can drape it where they need pressure. Sleepers wanting a weighted blanket that covers the entire bed or body should look at a larger size.
Pros and cons
- Compact enough for travel
- Two fabric sides, cool and warm
- Machine washable and dryer safe
- Even bead distribution across the blanket
- Covers part of the body only
- Spec sheet names polyethylene, bullets say glass
- Cold wash advised to protect softness
- Removable cover not listed
Performance notes
Calming pressure comes from bead weight spread evenly across a small surface, so the feel is concentrated where it rests. Temperature depends on which side faces the skin, cotton jersey for cooler use and microfleece for warmth. Softness over time depends on washing, and the maker advises cold water.
