Cable Matters 103095-GRY-N Video Converter

Overview

Cable Matters builds this converter around a bank of HDMI ports in a black housing. Signals enter and leave through the HDMI connections on the unit, so plan the source and display runs around that single connector type. Four ports are provided; the listing does not describe how each one is assigned.

Four HDMI ports give a small system room to grow without stacking separate adapters. What the listing leaves open is the part most buyers need first: which signal goes in, which comes out, and what the box draws for power. Those details are absent, so treat this as a connector hub only after checking the manufacturer documentation.

Who it's for

A media corner with multiple HDMI devices can use the four connections here to cut down on loose adapters. Buyers who need documented resolution, direction or power should look elsewhere, because the listing states none of them.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Every connection on the unit is HDMI, so the result depends on the source and display at each end of the run. With four ports and no stated direction or power, the box works as a fixed connector point rather than a configurable switch.
