Overview
Parents and vegan or dairy-free eaters get a dessert maker that turns frozen bananas and other fruit into soft serve. Fruit drops down a chute, a spinning blade shreds it, and a creamy treat comes out the front with nothing added.
Fruit-only soft serve gives a sweet treat with no added sugar or dairy, and it is quick to make. The machine relies on fruit you have frozen in advance.
Who it's for
Households with vegan, keto or dairy-free eaters get fast fruit desserts with easy cleanup. People who want custard-style ice cream need a churning machine.
Pros and cons
- Quick to use
- Recipe book included
- Needs fruit frozen in advance
- Not a churning ice cream maker
- Recipe count listed inconsistently
Performance notes
A blade at the bottom of the chute shreds frozen fruit into a smooth texture, so the result depends on how ripe and how frozen the fruit is. Overripe bananas give the creamiest base. Serving size follows how much fruit you feed in.
