Overview
Not a fixed-lens trail camera, the KEEN Ranger PT pans and tilts on command, so one unit can watch a whole clearing. It streams over cellular, runs on solar power, and records high resolution video with no-glow infrared at night.
Live look-around from a phone covers ground that a fixed camera would need several units to see. Key detection specs are missing, and cellular service is needed for remote access.
Who it's for
Off-grid cabins, food plots and gates where one camera must watch in every direction. Places with no cell signal will not see remote features.
Pros and cons
- Pan and tilt covers wide area
- 2K video day and night
- Solar power for long deployments
- Person and animal detection
- Detection range not listed
- Trigger speed not stated
- Needs cellular service
Performance notes
Coverage comes from the motor that pans and tilts the lens, so the useful area depends on where you aim it between alerts. Image detail depends on the sensor and no-glow infrared at night, while solar charging governs uptime.
