Overview
The WORKPRO W015066AE is a hand cutter weighing 13.1 ounces, sized for general cutting tasks around the workshop or garage. No cutting capacity or jaw type is given beyond the weight.
At just over 13 ounces this sits in the range of a hand-held wire, cable or diagonal cutter rather than a bolt cutter, which typically weighs several times more for the leverage needed to cut hardened steel. WORKPRO's lineup covers both types, so the specific cutting capacity is not confirmed by this listing alone.
- 13.1 ounce weight
- General-purpose hand cutter
- Compact size for tool bags
- WORKPRO branded
Who it's for
Suits general workshop and household use where a light hand cutter is needed for wire, cable or similar material. Anyone needing to cut bolts, thick rod or hardened steel should confirm cutting capacity before buying, since that is not stated here.
Pros and cons
- Light at 13.1 ounces for easy carrying
- Cutting capacity is not specified in the listing
- Weight suggests light-duty use rather than heavy cutting
Performance notes
Hand cutters this light rely on jaw geometry and leverage rather than raw mass to do the cutting, which works well for wire and soft cable but runs out of force quickly on anything hardened or thick. The 13.1 ounce weight keeps it easy to carry in a tool bag.
