Overview
Not a universal filter, this AROEVE pack is made only for one matching AROEVE air purifier. Each filter stacks a pre-filter for hair, a silver ion layer, a main filter layer and activated carbon for smoke, cooking and pet odors.
A two-pack covers most of a year of replacements for the matching purifier. It is labeled the standard version, and the listing never calls the main layer HEPA.
Who it's for
Pet owners and households with smokers get odor-absorbing carbon plus particle filtering for the matching AROEVE purifier. Owners of other purifier models need their own filters.
Pros and cons
- Made for the MK04
- Two filters per pack
- Carbon layer for odors
- Pre-filter for pet hair
- Only fits one model
- HEPA grade not stated
- Lifespan varies with use
Performance notes
The pre-filter catches hair and large particles so the finer layers clog more slowly. Activated carbon traps odors and fumes by adsorption, and it saturates over time. Lifespan depends on how dusty the room is and how long the purifier runs.
