Ezebaby Adjustable Wooden High Chair

Overview

The Ezebaby high chair is a beech wood adjustable chair marketed to fit kids from toddler age up through teens, with a weight capacity of 220 pounds (100 kilograms) that goes well beyond typical highchair limits. It weighs about 18 pounds and is listed as not portable.

The title and weight capacity point away from a typical infant highchair and toward a wooden dining chair that adjusts as a child grows, which is why it carries a weight rating normally seen on furniture rather than baby gear. Despite being filed under Baby, treat it as a growing chair rather than a feeding-tray highchair.

• Beech wood and wood construction
• 220 pound weight capacity
• Adjustable for toddler through teen use
• Not portable

Who it's for

Fits parents who want one wooden chair that adjusts through childhood rather than replacing a highchair every couple of years. Not the choice for someone who needs an infant-specific highchair with a removable tray and recline for a newborn, since the age range here starts at kid.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Beech wood construction and a 220 pound weight capacity indicate a chair built to be adjusted in height and depth rather than folded away, matching the stated non-portable design.
