Overview
Momcozy's BM01 is a standalone video baby monitor: a 5 inch 1080p display unit paired with a wall-mountable camera, built for parents who want a dedicated screen rather than a phone app for nursery checks.
This is a two-piece monitor system, not a phone-linked camera, so setup is plug in the camera and power on the display with no app pairing step. The listed 960ft range and 11.5 hour battery life describe the outer limits of use, not typical all-night performance with the screen left on and brightness up.
- 5 inch 1080p HD display
- Infrared night vision camera
- 5000mAh rechargeable battery
- Two-way audio with lullaby playback
Who it's for
Fits parents who want a wall-mounted camera view with infrared night vision and do not want to keep a phone tethered to a monitoring app. Two-way audio and a temperature sensor make it suited to a single nursery rather than a multi-room or multi-camera setup, since the description covers one camera only.
Pros and cons
- Wall-mount camera with infrared night vision
- No phone app or pairing required to set up
- Two-way audio plus a temperature sensor
- Split screen and loop playback for wider room coverage
- Battery life drops well under 11.5 hours with frequent screen use
- 960ft range applies to open, unobstructed conditions
- Single camera only in this listing
Performance notes
The camera uses infrared for night vision and a 360 degree field of view with split screen and loop playback, so it can cycle between areas of the room instead of holding one fixed shot. Two-way audio and VOX mean the screen lights up automatically on sound, and the 5000mAh battery is rated up to 11.5 hours between charges depending on how often the screen is checked.
