Overview
Highly pigmented pressed powders do the work in this Juvia's Place palette, laying down bold mattes, shimmers, metallics and glitters that show on every skin tone. Packing the brush intensifies the color, and tapping off softens it.
A wide spread of shades across four finishes gives endless combinations for vivid looks. Intense pigment needs a light hand, and shade names are not listed.
Who it's for
Makeup lovers who experiment with color get a huge range that pops on every complexion. Minimalists who stick to soft neutrals will use only a few pans.
Pros and cons
- Wide shade range
- Four finish types
- High pigment payoff
- Shows on all skin tones
- Eye-area warning copy is unclear
- Shade names not listed
- Large palette for travel
Performance notes
Dense pressed pigment transfers strongly to the brush, so tapping off the excess controls intensity while packing gives full color. Layering mattes for depth with metallics on top builds dimension.
