Overview
Corded rather than wireless, the LUCKVIEW BM1-US delivers 1080p video and color night vision from a fixed spot near the crib, trading portability for picture quality and a steady power source.
- 1080p resolution
- Color night vision
- Wired connectivity
- Corded electric power source
Who it's for
Fits parents who want a monitor set up permanently near an outlet in the nursery and value sharper 1080p video with color night vision over the ability to carry it between rooms.
Pros and cons
- 1080p video resolution
- Color night vision rather than black-and-white infrared
- Always-on power via corded connection
- Wired design ties it to a fixed spot
- Not battery powered or portable
Performance notes
The corded, wired design trades portability for a steady power source, while the 1080p resolution and color night vision aim to keep the picture usable after dark, an upgrade over the black-and-white infrared night vision on cheaper monitors.
