Overview
LG built this black steel washer around a very large drum that takes a king size comforter plus bedding in one load. TurboWash speeds up regular cycles and steam helps lift dirt, wrinkles and odors.
Fewer loads for bedding and towels is the payoff of the extra capacity. The size means a deep footprint and serious weight to move.
Who it's for
Big households and anyone washing comforters at home benefit from the drum size. Small spaces may not fit the depth with the door open.
Pros and cons
- Very large drum
- TurboWash time savings
- Heavy to install
- Smart features not detailed in listing
Performance notes
A larger drum lets bulky items tumble freely, which improves rinsing on comforters. TurboWash spray shortens wash time, and steam loosens soil and relaxes wrinkles. Load balance on big items affects spin smoothness.
