Overview
A bedside outlet, a desk and a travel bag each get a ready charger from this two-pack set. Each charger comes with its own long cable, and the listing names iPhones back to the fifth generation plus several iPad models.
Pairing a charger and cable twice over means a spare for the car or office. Long cables reach across a bed or a sofa arm. The limit is output, which stays at the same low level whatever the device supports.
Who it's for
Families with older and current iPhones and an iPad get a duplicate charging point for two rooms. Buyers with a newer phone that supports faster charging, or a laptop, should choose a higher output model.
Pros and cons
- Two chargers and two cables in one set
- Long cables reach beds and sofas
- MFI specification listed
- Covers old and recent iPhone models
- Output limited to twelve watts
- Single output rating for all devices
- Connector shape not spelled out in specs
Performance notes
Charging speed follows the rated voltage and current, which tops out at the listed wattage. Any device that can pull more power still charges at that ceiling. The MFI specification means the cable follows Apple connector rules, so iPhones and iPads recognize it.
