A reasonable budget stand-in for a cast kettlebell, but weigh the sand yourself rather than trusting the inside fill line, and expect the handle clip to be the weak point.

Overview
A soft-shell kettlebell alternative filled with your own sand to reach 35 lb, built from heavy-duty PVC with a neoprene-wrapped handle so it swings, presses and carries like a cast kettlebell without denting floors.
Sand isn't included, so the real weight depends on how carefully you fill it against the inside line - one owner found their line marked for 35 lb actually held closer to 25 lb. The tradeoff for that DIY step is a kettlebell that costs a fraction of cast iron and won't scratch hardwood if dropped.
- Ultra heavy-duty flexible PVC shell
- Sealed drybag construction to reduce sand leaks
- Neoprene-wrapped semi-rigid handle
- Compatible with the Meister BEAST 80 lb sandbag
Who it's for
Suits home lifters and travelers who want kettlebell movements without the cost or floor risk of cast iron, and who don't mind weighing out sand themselves. Not for anyone who wants an exact, pre-set weight straight out of the box.
Pros and cons
- Replicates kettlebell swings, presses and carries
- Costs a fraction of a cast kettlebell
- Won't scratch or dent floors if dropped
- Packs flat for travel or storage
- Plastic handle clip has broken for some owners
- Inside fill line may undercount the actual weight
Performance notes
It's a PVC drybag you fill with sand up to the marked line to hit 35 lb, shaped to mimic a kettlebell for swings, squats, presses, pulls and get-ups. The semi-rigid neoprene handle is what actually determines grip comfort and how the bag holds up under repeated drops.

Frequently asked questions
What weight is the Meister BEAST 1167KBB35BK rated for?
It's built for a 35 lb fill once loaded with sand to the inside line, though one owner's scale reading came in closer to 25 lb at that line, so weigh it yourself for accuracy.
Does the Meister BEAST kettlebell come filled with sand?
No, sand is not included. You fill the PVC shell yourself using the inner fill line as a guide.
