Overview
Not a gas machine, the YARDMAX YS0650 is an electric log splitter described as high-powered, lightweight and easy to maneuver. The copy talks about ruggedness and portability and gives no build details.
Electric operation means clean splitting without fuel, and the description stresses portability. The page offers no ram stroke, cycle time or electrical requirements, and the weight given is listed as the package weight.
Who it's for
Homeowners with a modest amount of firewood and a nearby outlet will use an electric machine without handling fuel. Anyone splitting large rounds away from power should consider a gas model, and detail-minded buyers should ask for specifications.
Pros and cons
- Electric operation, no fuel to handle
- Stated splitting force
- Described as portable and easy to maneuver
- Electrical requirements not listed
- Log length and diameter limits absent
- Seller copy is generic
Performance notes
An electric motor drives the ram, so power comes from an outlet and nothing is burned. Force rating sets how tough a log it can split, and cycle time is not published. Cord length and circuit needs are not described.
