Overview
A 5-inch USB-powered ring light that clips onto a laptop or monitor edge for video calls, with an adjustable arm and its own small phone or tablet stand.
Rather than a floor tripod, this one clamps directly to a laptop lid or monitor bezel, straight or slightly curved, using a stretchable plate sized for 2 to 2.5 inch screen edges. The arm extends from 6.5 to 8.5 inches and folds flat (90 degrees at the arm, 180 degrees at the ring) when not in use, which matters for anyone packing it for travel rather than leaving it permanently at a desk. It runs off any USB power source, so a laptop's own port or a power bank keeps it running without a separate charger.
- 5-inch USB-powered ring light with 64 LEDs at 10W
- Clips to laptop or monitor edges from 2 to 2.5 inches thick
- 3 color temperatures with CRI above 98
- Folds flat: 90 degrees at the arm, 180 degrees at the ring
Who it's for
Remote workers and anyone on frequent video calls who wants consistent face lighting clipped to their existing laptop or monitor, without adding a floor stand or tripod to a desk.
Pros and cons
- Clips directly to laptop or monitor edges instead of needing a floor stand
- Folds flat for storage or travel
- CRI above 98 for more accurate skin tone on camera
- Doubles as a phone or tablet stand
- 5-inch light head is small next to a full floor ring light
- Clamp plate range (2 to 2.5 inches) will not fit every monitor bezel
Performance notes
64 LEDs rated at 10W total output run across three color temperatures (white, natural, warm) with a CRI above 98, meant to render skin tone accurately on camera rather than washing it out. Brightness is adjustable across multiple levels so the light can be dialed down for close range or up for a dim room. The stand also holds a phone or small tablet, letting the same clip serve calls made from either the laptop or a phone propped beside it.
