Overview
Building stories around a pool party is what this Barbie DreamHouse is made for. The open three level design lets kids reach every room from the sides, a spiral slide drops dolls into the pool, and a working elevator moves them between floors.
Many play areas plus pet features give it a wide variety of play, and the elevator is wheelchair accessible for dolls that use one. It is big and heavy, takes time to assemble and needs batteries for the lights and sounds.
Who it's for
Kids who own several Barbie dolls and pets and like multi room play will fill the house. Families tight on space or wanting a setup that works straight from the box should consider a smaller set.
Pros and cons
- Spiral slide drops dolls into pool
- Working elevator, wheelchair accessible
- Pet elevator, slide and puppy
- Sleepover setup in the bonus room
- Dolls not included
- Batteries not included
- Large footprint and assembly required
- No warranty per the listing
Performance notes
The open back design lets several children play at once around all sides. Lights and sounds in the kitchen and bathroom only work once batteries are fitted, and the slide and elevator are manual play features that depend on dolls being on hand.
