Overview
The Evenflo 57112459AZ is a car seat rated for a weight capacity of 55 pounds and listed for kid age range use, making it more suited to older children than newborns. It is built with polyester covering and weighs 30.9 pounds.
The listed age range of Kid rather than Baby or Toddler suggests this seat is positioned for older children still under the 55 pound limit, distinct from an infant carrier. At just over 39 inches long and up to 39.25 inches tall, it has a larger footprint that will need adequate back seat space.

Who it's for

Pros and cons
- 55 pound weight capacity for older kids
- Lighter than comparable 55 pound rated seats at 30.9 pounds
- Tall dimensions near 39.25 inches may not suit low rooflines
Performance notes
At 30.9 pounds the seat is lighter than some 55 pound capacity models, and its dimensions run tall at nearly 39.25 inches, which matters for vehicles with lower roof lines or third row seating.
