Overview
Sportneer's six piece dumbbell set is finished in pink, purple and green neoprene over a combined item weight of 12 pounds, aimed at light strength and toning work at home rather than heavy lifting.
Neoprene coating gives the dumbbells a soft grip and a color per weight, which is the usual reason brands sell dumbbells in sets rather than single pairs, so users can move up in small steps during a workout. The pastel colorway points this set toward home and studio use rather than a commercial gym rack. Exact per dumbbell weight isn't broken out in the listing.
- Neoprene material
- Pink, purple and green colorway
- Six pieces per set
- 12 pounds total item weight
Who it's for
Fits people building a light home dumbbell rack for toning, rehab or beginner strength work. Lifters chasing heavy loads or a single fixed weight pair should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Neoprene coating is easier on hands than bare metal
- Color coded pieces help identify weight at a glance
- Six piece set gives room to step up gradually
- Individual dumbbell weights aren't broken out
- Neoprene can wear at drop points over time
- Not suited to heavy lifting
Performance notes
The neoprene shell cushions grip and protects floors compared to bare iron or chrome dumbbells, at the cost of some durability if dropped repeatedly on hard edges. With six pieces sharing a 12 pound combined weight, this reads as a graduated light set rather than a single heavy pair.
