Overview
A small online seller packing orders at the kitchen table gets a Phomemo printer that turns out standard shipping labels with no ink. Phones print through the Labelife app over Bluetooth, and computers connect by USB with a driver.
Bluetooth from a phone plus USB from a computer cover most selling setups. Bluetooth works only through the app, and only black printing is supported.
Who it's for
Home sellers on eBay, Shopify or Etsy get fast shipping labels with no ink to buy. Offices printing color labels need a different printer.
Pros and cons
- Prints 4x6 shipping labels
- No ink or toner
- Phone and computer printing
- Wide label width range
- Bluetooth only through the app
- Black printing only
- Driver download needed on PC
Performance notes
Speed comes from direct thermal printing, which marks heat-sensitive labels without drying time. Print crispness depends on label quality, and the maker suggests its own thermal paper.
