Overview
Organic Way sells these whole milk thistle seeds loose, meant for brewing as an herbal tea, wild-harvested in Albania and certified organic, kosher, vegan, non-GMO and gluten free, in a 16 ounce package.
Unlike capsule or softgel milk thistle products, these are raw seeds meant to be steeped as tea, so dosing is left to whoever brews it rather than a fixed capsule amount. The certifications listed cover sourcing and diet compatibility rather than a specific potency claim.
- 16 ounce whole milk thistle seeds
- USDA organic and kosher certified
- Wild-harvested in Albania
- Vegan, non-GMO, gluten free
Who it's for
Fits someone who prefers brewing loose herbal tea over swallowing capsules and wants documented organic and wild-harvest sourcing. Not a fit for anyone who wants a measured, standardized daily dose.
Pros and cons
- Organic and kosher certified
- Wild-harvested, single origin from Albania
- Vegan, non-GMO and gluten free
- Large 16 ounce package
- No standardized extract or fixed dose per serving
- No customer review data available yet
- Requires brewing, not a grab-and-go format
Performance notes
As whole seeds rather than an extract, potency will vary with how the tea is steeped, and the listing does not specify a silymarin content, which is typical of raw seed products compared with standardized extracts.
