Overview
This Sotiff two-pack includes 12 inch dehooker tools built from aluminum alloy and stainless steel, with a T-shaped handle and hyperbolic hook design for one-handed hook removal.
One reviewer flagged that the handle can loosen while twisting to pop a hook free, fixed with thread locker on the threads.
- 2-pack, 12 inch dehooker tools
- Aluminum alloy and stainless steel build
- T-shaped handle, hyperbolic hook design
- One-handed hook removal
Who it's for
Fits anglers targeting bigger species like snapper, cobia, tuna, or shark who want a durable one-handed dehooker. Not a fit for anglers mainly targeting small fish like trout, redfish, or flounder.
Pros and cons
- Sturdy build holds up in saltwater
- One-handed rotate-and-release operation
- Two-pack, good for sharing with others
- Too large for small fish species
- Handle threads can loosen during twisting
Performance notes
The hyperbolic hook and T-shaped handle let a single hand hook the line, rotate, and release the fish without direct contact with the hook.
