Overview
Delta Children's Curve Bassinet is a mesh-sided, wheeled bedside bassinet with a vibration, sound and nightlight control panel, sized 32 x 20 x 45 inches with an included water-resistant mattress pad.
Parents who compared it against several other bassinets across multiple kids describe the simple, light, wheeled design as the reason it kept winning out over bulkier options. The storage basket underneath and lockable wheels matter for a bedside setup that gets moved room to room during the newborn stretch. The one consistent gap between the marketing and reviewer experience is the thickness of the included mattress pad.
- Mesh sides for airflow and visibility
- Vibration, sound and nightlight control panel
- Four lockable wheels
- JPMA certified to CPSC and ASTM standards
Who it's for
Parents who want a light, portable bedside bassinet for roughly the first three to four months, with wheels to move it between rooms. Not the pick for parents who want a thicker sleep surface without adding their own mattress pad.
Pros and cons
- Very light, easy to move between rooms
- Mesh sides give a clear view of baby
- Sound, vibration and nightlight help settle baby
- Underneath basket holds diapering supplies
- Included mattress pad runs thin for some babies
- Wheels feel a bit cheap and roll unevenly
Performance notes
Mesh sides run all around for airflow and a clear view of the baby, which is also what the JPMA certification is measuring against CPSC and ASTM standards. The control panel's vibration, sound and nightlight are aimed at shortening the time it takes to settle a newborn back to sleep. Four lockable wheels let it roll between rooms and then hold still once positioned, and the basket underneath keeps diapering supplies within reach without a trip out of the room.
