Overview
Not a pedestal or a floor model, this is a compact silver desk fan with a brushless motor. It oscillates vertically and horizontally, and a remote, an app and a touchpad control it.
A small body that still oscillates and responds to voice commands is the reason to buy for a desk, a counter or a bedside table. The limits are the small size and a listing with a blade length that does not match the body.
Who it's for
Remote workers and apartment dwellers who want a fan on the desk with a timer and voice control get a light, assembled unit. Anyone who wants to cool a large room should look at a pedestal or floor fan instead.
Pros and cons
- Compact and light desk size
- Oscillates vertically and horizontally
- Remote, app and voice control
- Small body suits close range only
- Blade length field looks wrong
- Needs Wi-Fi for app and voice control
Performance notes
A small airflow stream reaches a person at a desk, and oscillation spreads it across the space. The brushless motor stays quiet at low speeds, and each step up raises both airflow and noise. The timer shuts the fan off after a set run.
