Overview
Placing it in a large living space or office lets this IQAir unit pull air through HyperHEPA filters rated far below standard HEPA particle sizes. Three smart modes read the air sensor and change output, and the AirVisual app shows conditions remotely.
Filtration rated to ultrafine particles and a fan redesigned for lower power suit large rooms that run all day. The listing does not mention gas or odor filtration, which matters for cooking smells or VOCs.
Who it's for
Large living rooms, offices and classrooms with allergy or wildfire smoke concerns suit its HyperHEPA filter. Buyers focused on cooking odors or VOCs should look for a carbon stage.
Pros and cons
- Rated for very fine particles
- Covers large rooms
- Smart modes extend filter life
- App with outdoor air data
- No odor or gas filtration listed
- Signature required on delivery
Performance notes
Particle removal depends on air passing the HyperHEPA media at the right speed, and the smart modes raise or lower the fan to match sensor readings. Lower fan speeds during clean periods cut power use and slow filter loading.
