Overview
Woanger Woanger-Accessories-77 - a black bait trap.
Its collapsible steel frame folds flat for storage and transport, then opens for setting. As a net and trap style device, it is designed to catch live bait such as minnows or crawfish rather than to land larger fish directly.
- Foldable, portable steel wire and nylon frame
- Weighs about 1.14 kilograms
- Net or trap technique for live bait
Who it's for
Anglers who want to catch their own live bait before a trip, using a portable trap that packs down small. Not for anyone expecting a rod, reel or lure, since this is strictly a bait collection tool.
Pros and cons
- Foldable design for compact storage and transport
- Nylon and steel construction suited to repeated setting
- Adds about 1.14 kilograms to your gear bag
- Only traps live bait, does not catch fish directly
Performance notes
The nylon and steel wire build is meant to fold for storage and spring open for setting, the standard design for portable bait traps. At just over a kilogram, it stays light enough to carry to the water alongside other gear.
