Overview
A hardwood rod rack sold as two mountable sets that together hold up to 12 rods or rod-and-reel combos, for wall or ceiling installation in a garage, basement, or boathouse.
This is storage furniture, not a rod itself, and the two sets can be mounted separately if a single 12-rod block does not fit the available wall or ceiling space. The widened cradle diameter is meant to fit both bulky saltwater rods and thin ultralight rods in the same rack, which is where narrower racks tend to fall short.
- Sold as 2 sets that combine for 12-rod capacity
- Solid hardwood, not particleboard or plastic
- Wipes clean with a damp cloth
- Includes step-by-step mounting instructions
Who it's for
Anglers with several rods who are tired of them leaning in a corner or lying across the garage floor, and who have wall or ceiling space to dedicate to organized storage. Not a fit for anyone who needs a single small rack for one or two rods.
Pros and cons
- Holds up to 12 rods or combos across two mounted sets
- Hardwood construction with a moisture resistant coating
- Cradle diameter fits both heavy and ultralight rods
- Can be mounted on a wall or a ceiling
- Capacity is split across two separate rack sets, not one unit
- No overall dimensions are given for either rack set
Performance notes
Each cradle uses a widened diameter so it can hold either a thick saltwater rod or a thin ultralight rod without the rod sitting loose. The hardwood is coated to resist moisture, and installation is described as straightforward with included instructions for either wall or ceiling mounting.
