Overview
Rolling the Storm IQ Tour Ruby down the lane shows its job: get through the front of the lane cleanly, then rev toward the pocket. A pearl reactive cover meets a Centripetal Control core for a predictable, benchmark shape.
A controlled, predictable motion makes it an easy ball to read on unfamiliar lanes, which helps league bowlers changing houses. RG and differential numbers are missing, so arsenal planning relies on the core description.
Who it's for
Bowlers wanting an upper mid performance ball that reads the lane early and holds the pocket will like it. Players on very heavy oil need a stronger, duller cover.
Pros and cons
- Predictable benchmark ball shape
- Pearl cover gives clean front lane length
- Polished finish for backend motion
- Berry Splash fragrance
- RG and differential not listed
- Polished finish may skid on heavy oil
- Drilling not mentioned
Performance notes
Lane reaction comes from the pearl cover passing through the front of the lane before gripping on the back end. The polished finish adds length, and the centripetal control core holds a steady, predictable arc. Oil volume and pattern decide how strong that arc looks.
