Overview
Halo's HZ-1007-ANA runs on natural gas rather than propane, built in metal with a grey finish and sized at roughly 31 by 63 by 43 inches.
Running on natural gas ties this grill to a fixed gas line, which is worth weighing against a propane unit you could move around the yard. At 63 inches wide it is a full-size grill built for a permanent spot on a patio.
- Natural gas fuel
- Metal construction
- Grey finish
- 63 in width
Who it's for
Fits a household with an existing natural gas hookup that wants to skip refilling propane tanks. Not suited to renters or anyone without a gas line already run to the patio, and not portable enough for tailgating.
Pros and cons
- No propane tanks to buy or refill
- Full-size 63 inch width for larger cookouts
- Requires an existing natural gas hookup
- Not portable once installed
- No BTU or cooking area figure listed
Performance notes
Natural gas draws continuously from the home's line instead of a tank, so output does not taper off as a propane tank empties. The tradeoff is that the grill is fixed to wherever the gas line runs, unlike a propane cart you can wheel around.
