Overview
Garmin's Alpha TT 25 is a GPS dog tracking and training collar receiver, sold with a rechargeable battery pack, charging clip and orange 1 inch collar strap. It pairs with a compatible Alpha handheld for location tracking and remote training stimulation.
This listing is the collar unit itself, not a standalone tracker; it needs an Alpha series handheld to display location and send training commands. The contact points ship in two lengths with a wrench for coat-length adjustment, which matters for reliable stimulation contact on thick-coated breeds.
- Rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, USB-C charging
- 1 inch orange collar strap included
- Short and long contact points with wrench
- 1 year limited warranty
Who it's for
Hunters and working-dog owners who already run or plan to run a Garmin Alpha handheld system and need an additional collar for a second dog. Not a fit for anyone wanting a simple standalone GPS tracker with no handheld required.
Pros and cons
- Rechargeable via USB-C, no disposable batteries
- Short and long contact points included for different coat types
- Fits large and small breeds
- Requires a separate Alpha handheld to function as a tracker
- Handheld unit not included in this listing
Performance notes
The rechargeable Li-ion pack and USB-C cable point to a modern charging setup rather than disposable batteries, and the interchangeable short and long contact points let the collar seat properly on both short and thick coats.
