Elgi Ultra Bigg+T Table Top Wet Grinder 2.5 Liter

Overview

Grinding soaked grains and lentils into batter for idli and dosa is the job here, with conical grinding stones working the mix inside a drum until it turns smooth. An atta kneader attachment comes in the box, so the same base can also work dough.

Owning one machine for both batter and dough is the reason to look at the Bigg+T, since the kneader attachment is part of the package. On the other side, the listing is thin on electrical details and gives no motor rating, so the spec sheet cannot say how fast it works.

Who it's for

Families who soak rice and lentils every week get a dedicated batter machine with a stainless and stone build. Cooks who want a power figure, dimensions or a weight before buying will find those missing from the listing.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Batter texture depends on how long the soaked grains spend between the conical stones and how much water goes in with them. A fuller drum takes longer to reach a smooth paste, and the motor rating that would govern speed under load is not stated.
