A genuinely light carbon frame with a real Shimano groupset at an entry price, worth it if you confirm your height against Savadeck's sizing chart carefully and don't mind doing some post-assembly adjustment yourself.

More from this brandAll Savadeck road bikesOverview
A carbon fiber road bike built on Toray T800 fiber with a Shimano Sora R3000 18-speed derailleur setup, weighing a claimed 9.6kg (21.1lb) and aimed at riders moving up from an entry-level or aluminum bike into their first carbon frame.
That said, at least one buyer ran into a genuine sizing shortfall, where the seatpost wouldn't lower far enough for their height despite following the brand's fit guidance.
- Toray T800 carbon frame, fork, rims and seatpost
- Shimano Sora R3000 18-speed derailleur system
- 700x25C Continental tires included
- Fully internal cable routing
Who it's for
Riders stepping up to their first carbon road bike who want light weight and a Shimano Sora groupset without a premium-brand price tag. Not ideal for anyone near the edge of a frame size's height range, since at least one reviewer found the smallest size couldn't be lowered enough for their height.
Pros and cons
- Genuinely lightweight carbon frame near the claimed 21.1 lb
- Customer service confirms rider fit before shipping
- Internal cable routing keeps the frame clean
- Generic assembly instructions didn't match this bike's axle type for one buyer
- Front disc caliper needed manual realignment out of the box
- No seat clamp included for at least one order
- Smallest frame size may not fit shorter riders as advertised
Performance notes
One buyer's seatpost couldn't lower enough to fit their height despite Savadeck's pre-shipment sizing check.
