Overview
Not a wheeled case, the LOVEVOOK is a large backpack that also carries as a duffel or shoulder bag. Four main compartments, a laptop sleeve and a wet and dry pocket sort the load, and a luggage strap slides it onto a suitcase handle.
Packing cubes and many compartments turn a backpack into a short-trip suitcase you wear. On a full load all the weight rides on your shoulders, and the listing does not describe a hip belt.
Who it's for
Weekend trips, city hops and college travel suit a backpack that opens like a suitcase. People with back or shoulder trouble should roll their luggage instead.
Pros and cons
- Packing cubes included
- Large laptop sleeve
- Wet and dry pocket for toiletries
- Carries as backpack, duffel or shoulder bag
- Water resistant, not waterproof
- No hip belt mentioned
- Hand wash only
- Airline fit depends on how full it is
Performance notes
A soft backpack compresses to fit under a seat when it is not packed full, which helps on strict personal item fares. Breathable sponge mesh straps spread the load, but all the weight rests on your shoulders. The luggage strap moves that weight to a rolling case when you have one.
