Overview
At 3.5 cu. ft., the Frigidaire EFRF3003 is a compact, garage-ready chest deep freezer in white, with an adjustable thermostat and a removable vinyl-coated wire storage basket.
Frigidaire rates the thermostat with seven settings for temperature control and includes an easy-access exterior defrost drain plus an aluminum interior liner. Its small footprint suits a garage, apartment or secondary freezer role rather than replacing a full-size chest freezer.
- 3.5 cu. ft. capacity
- Garage-ready rating
- Adjustable 7-setting thermostat
- Removable vinyl-coated wire basket
Who it's for
Buyers who need a small, garage-tolerant backup freezer for overflow items rather than a primary large-capacity unit. The one review on file describes it fitting that exact use case without issue.
Pros and cons
- Garage-ready rating for use outside a climate-controlled kitchen
- Removable wire basket for organizing smaller items
- Exterior defrost drain for easier maintenance
- Seven-position adjustable thermostat
- 3.5 cu. ft. capacity suits backup or overflow storage, not primary freezing needs
Performance notes
The single flip-up lid and removable vinyl-coated wire basket are meant to keep frequently used items accessible near the top rather than buried at the bottom. The seven-position adjustable thermostat allows for finer temperature control, and the exterior defrost drain is designed to make periodic defrosting less of a chore than reaching into the cabinet.
