Overview
A streaming desk, a lecture recording setup or a church media booth is where this Magewell dongle earns its place, turning one HDMI source into a USB video and audio feed for a computer. It works across Windows, Linux and Mac.
Single cable capture of video and embedded audio makes it simple to bring a camera or console into streaming software. Full specifications such as frame rates and latency are missing from the listing.
Who it's for
Live streamers, teachers and event teams adding a single HDMI camera to a computer get a cross-platform dongle. Producers needing multi-camera or higher resolution capture need different hardware.
