Overview
Not a simple rocker, the Nurture& Glider Plus is a powered recliner that also swivels and glides on a low metal base. Motors move the back, leg rest, headrest and lumbar support at the press of a button, and built in USB charges a phone or baby monitor.
Adjustable support for the neck and lower back sets this glider apart, and it matters during long feeds and pumping sessions. Swivel and glide let a parent reach the crib without standing. Weight and bulk make it hard to move once placed, and the listing leaves the power setup unexplained.
Who it's for
Night feeds in a nursery with floor space to spare are its setting, where the recline and swivel get daily use. Families with a tight room or who rearrange furniture often will find its size and weight a burden.
Pros and cons
- Power recline with motorized headrest
- Power lumbar adjusts lower back support
- Swivel and glide in one base
- Built-in USB for phones and monitors
- Heavy to move between rooms
- Needs room behind and ahead to recline
- Warranty length not listed
Performance notes
Comfort depends on the motorized adjustments: the headrest and lumbar move separately, so a parent can hold the baby at feeding height without straining the neck or lower back. The glide and swivel run on a metal base, which governs how smooth and quiet the motion feels. The fabric's stain resistance decides how well it copes with spills.
