Overview
A first time player who wants everything in one box gets a full size dreadnought plus a padded gig bag, digital tuner, capo, strap, plectrums and a music stand. A free start lessons card and chord card point the way through the first songs.
Completeness is the reason to buy: no second shopping trip for a tuner, capo or bag. Basswood back and sides and technical wood fingerboard are budget materials, and new strings stretch and drift out of tune for the first days.
Who it's for
Teens, adults and gift buyers who want a ready to play starter set get every accessory in one box. Players upgrading from a first guitar should look at better tonewoods.
Pros and cons
- Full accessory bundle
- Padded waterproof gig bag
- Capo and music stand included
- Fret position marks
- Tuner battery not included
- Basswood back and sides
- Stand or hanger varies by stock
Performance notes
New strings stretch as they settle, so tuning drifts until the strings and wood adapt to the tension. A spruce top over basswood gives a bright, simple tone that suits strumming chords.
