Not a light last-mile scooter you carry onto a train, the KuKirin is a heavy adult machine with front and rear suspension, disc brakes at both ends and a folding frame. Large rubber tires and an adjustable handlebar suit longer rides and rough ground.

Speed and range are what the KuKirin sells, backed by brakes and suspension at both wheels to handle them. Weight is the downside: folding it does not make it easy to lift, and the box contents are thin on detail, with no charger named.

Who it's for

Riders with long commutes, mixed pavement and dirt, and a garage to store it get the most from its speed and suspension. Apartment dwellers without an elevator will struggle with the weight.
