RunStar BG1911 Wide Digital Bathroom Scale 550 lb

Overview

A digital bathroom scale built for household use, with a 550 lb weight capacity and a tempered glass platform. The runstar BG1911 reads to a precision of 0.1 lb and displays results on an LCD panel. Suits users who need a higher capacity than a standard household scale offers.

Most consumer bathroom scales top out around 400 lb, so the BG1911's 550 lb capacity is the reason to look at it specifically. The tempered glass deck and blue black finish keep it looking like a standard scale rather than a medical device. No body fat, BMI, or app syncing features are listed in the spec sheet, so treat this as a straightforward weight readout.

• 550 lb weight capacity
• 0.1 lb reading accuracy
• Tempered glass construction
• Blue black finish, 4.6 lb scale weight

Who it's for

Fits households wanting a scale that can weigh heavier users without maxing out, and anyone replacing a scale that broke under normal use. Not the choice for someone wanting body composition metrics like body fat or muscle mass, since none are listed.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The 0.1 lb increment display is standard for consumer scales and should be precise enough for daily weigh-ins. Tempered glass platforms are typically sturdier underfoot than plastic decks at this weight range, though the spec sheet does not list a warranty or auto-calibration feature.
