Overview
A fishing tool kit pairing a 7 inch stainless steel multi function plier with a separate fish lip gripper, covering hook removal, line cutting, split ring work and landing fish one handed.
Sold as two tools in one kit rather than a single device, the pliers and the lip gripper each come with their own sheath or lanyard.
- 7 inch stainless steel multi function pliers
- Separate fish lip gripper with spring lock jaw
- Corrosion resistant coating for saltwater use
- Includes sheath and coiled lanyards
Who it's for
Suited to saltwater and freshwater anglers who want a combined cutting, hook removing and fish landing kit in one purchase. Less useful if you already own a dedicated plier and gripper and only need one replacement tool.
Pros and cons
- Two tools in one kit, pliers plus lip gripper
- Stainless steel with corrosion resistant coating for saltwater
- One handed operation on the lip gripper
- Includes sheath and lanyards for both tools
- Two separate tools to keep track of rather than one combined unit
Performance notes
The pliers use a needle nose design meant to reach into toothy fish for hook removal, split ring work and line cutting, built from stainless steel with a corrosion resistant coating for saltwater use. The separate lip gripper uses a spring lock jaw and quick release lever for one handed landing, with rubber handles on both tools for wet grip.
