Overview
HyperVelocity suction pulls pet hair, crumbs and dust into a bagless dust cup on this cordless Shark hand vacuum. A washable foam filter screens the air, and the crevice and pet tools reach into upholstery, carpet and car interiors.
Low weight and a dedicated pet tool make it easy to grab for hair on furniture or a car seat without dragging out a full vacuum. The battery runs down quickly and suction cannot be turned up, so heavy messes need several charges or a bigger machine.
Who it's for
Homes with a shedding dog or cat and a car to tidy get a tool for daily touch-ups. Those who want a primary vacuum or adjustable suction should choose a stick or upright model.
Pros and cons
- Very light for one-handed use
- Charges over USB
- Pet tool for upholstery hair
- Crevice tool reaches tight gaps
- Short runtime per charge
- Single power level only
- Charge time not listed
- Loud at the listed noise level
Performance notes
Cleaning results depend on HyperVelocity suction at the nozzle and how clean the foam filter is, since a clogged filter cuts airflow. The lithium-ion battery sets how long you can clean before recharging, and with a single power level there is no way to trade suction for runtime. The pet tool and crevice tool shape the airflow for fabric and tight gaps.
