Overview
An 8x8 shadow box, model DS88, with a white linen push-pin backing behind a plexiglass front, built for pinning dried flowers, tickets, small specimens or paw print keepsakes. Hangs on a wall or stands on a tabletop easel.
- Overall 8.58 x 8.58 x 1.77 inch frame with a 7.55 x 7.55 x 1.18 inch inner space
- White linen-wrapped foam backing takes push pins directly, included in the box
- Sawtooth hanger for the wall plus a rear easel for tabletop display
- Also sold as a set of two for matching displays
Who it's for
People preserving a pet's paw print, a dried flower, event tickets, a found insect or moth, or similar small keepsakes they want pinned and protected. Not for anyone who specifically wants a real glass front.
Pros and cons
- Easy to pin delicate keepsakes into the linen backing
- Works hung on a wall or standing on its easel
- Protective film on the front is hard to peel at the edges
- Included push pins are bulky for very delicate items
Performance notes
The 0.25 inch foam backing board is wrapped in linen so push pins go in and out cleanly without tearing, which is what lets owners swap out what is displayed. A sawtooth hanger on the back handles wall mounting, while a separate easel lets the same box stand upright on a shelf or table.
